Holly Area Schools encompass one of the largest areas as a school district in Oakland County. Attendees to the schools come from all over: Davisburg, Rose Township, White Lake, Grand Blanc, Fenton, and Holly. Even with the multiple areas that Holly School Districts encompass, there are only four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school.
Battle Alley and Main Street, both part of Downtown Holly, offers an array of boutiques and hidden-gem restaurants. Holly is home to a train museum, Bittersweet Cafe, Blackthorn Pub, Winglemire Furniture, and the one and only Red Devil Restaurant. One of the great things about downtown is that it is set up so that anything one needs is just a short walk away.
A popular spot during the winter months is Holly’s ski and snowboard resort, Mt Holly. Boasting the largest vertical in southeastern Michigan as well as the only high-speed attachment chairlift in southeast Michigan. Mt. Holly has 19 trails and 120 snow blowers, so even when there is not a lot of the white stuff coming down, Mt. Holly will not be in short supply of snow. In addition to offering open skiing and lessons, Mt. Holly is home to the Holly-Oxford Ski Team. Mt. Holly Lanes Bowling Alley
Holly Lanes, the local bowling alley, has recently been renovated. The lanes offer bowling in a clean environment and a bar and grill area with separate dining. They host open bowling, as well as leagues and parties for any occasion.
